Masterbatch extruder — It’s an indispensable part.
There are many types of masterbatches: color masterbatches, fill masterbatches, functional masterbatches, and so on.
Functional masterbatch refers to the concentrate of various plastic additives, and the direct addition of additives is not easy to disperse, and the use efficiency is not high, so it is often added in the form of masterbatch.
Fill masterbatch, maintain basic parameters, for greatly reduce costs.
Filler masterbatche:
Use it in injection, blow-moulding, film (One layer or Multiple layer), sheet and tapes applications. They offer the following advantages:
Lower raw materials cost, as they are usually more economic than polymer resins
Increased output due to faster mould cooling
Reduction of colour masterbatch requirement
Higher resistance to heat deflection, higher rigidity and stiffness
Improved dimensional stability, weldability and printability
The most common, PP PE filler CaCO3 (Talc, wood powder, fillers) , CaCO3 can reach up to 55~85%,During the filling process, only add appropriate amount of PE Wax.

Functional masterbatch:
Types of MB: Dry masterbatch, defoaming masterbatch, flame retardant masterbatch, enhanced masterbatch, foaming masterbatch, brightening masterbatch, toughening masterbatch and so on.
To make functional masterbatch, often use: carrier resin, filler, coupling agent, wax, dispersant and so on.
